About the Position:This position is located at Department of Surgery, William Beaumont Army Medical Center. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Assist in compiling and maintaining a comprehensive database of all patients.
- →Set up, organize, input, and maintain patient data to ensure compliance with tumor registry standard operating policies and procedures, and to meet the needs of the users of registry data.
- →Perform and maintain quality assurance of case-finding, abstracting, staging, and coding of data and follow-up procedures.
- →Assist in developing and implementing administrative procedures and processes necessary to audit, identify and review confirmed cancer diagnoses.
- →Provide orientation of the Tumor Registry to health care providers, medical record students, new employees, and volunteers.
