About the Position: This position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center San Antonio, Texas. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Compose correspondence or prepares abstracts of medical reports which involve analysis of the case involved in order to present only necessary and pertinent information.
- →Review clinical and outpatient records, which are to be copied for appropriateness of content and determines whether record should be copied or an abstract prepared.
- →Counsel military sponsors and/or dependents requesting medical information for processing a request and processes through appropriate channels.
- →Submit copies to Medical Service Accounts Office for insurance processing and maintains a file copy.
- →Receive personal and telephone inquiries regarding the status of abstracts, medical reports, and other information requested.
