What You'll Do
- →The primary purpose of this position is: As an Air Reserve Technician (ART) accomplishes a variety of work which determines the unit's readiness and capability to meet its wartime mission and provide training to assigned unit personnel in the accomplishment of contingency and humanitarian missions and worldwide deployment activities.
- →DUTIES: DUTY 1: Unit resource advisor (RA) and member of the Financial Working Group (FWG) for budget formulation.
- →Reviews, assesses and validates compiled data for accuracy in developing, coordinating and presenting financial plans and budgets to include RPA, O&M, PBAS/TBAS accounts, prioritizing budget requirements, unfunded requirements, fiscal and manpower needs based on assessment of historical and projected requirements, source documents and mission taskings.
- →Validates deficiencies and takes corrective actions.
- →DUTY 2: Oversees monthly preparation of Status of Resource and Training Systems (SORTS) report.
- →Reviews, analyzes and interprets compiled real time data for accuracy to assist with preparation of the Status of Resources and Training Systems (SORTS) report.
- →Identifies shortage of personnel, training deficiencies, funding requirements and takes/recommends corrective actions.
- →DUTY 3: Evaluates and oversees the wartime AFSC enlisted specialty training requirements for assigned personnel.
- →Coordinates with functional area managers and reserve Unit Training and Education Manager to ensure specialty training is in accordance with directives and is efficiently executed.
- →Establishes and is responsible for the on-the-job training program of enlisted personnel.
- →DUTY 4: Manages the squadrons Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) resource.
- →Maintains interface with multiple major software information management systems that aeromedical evacuation uses.
- →Manages the squadron's personnel and information security programs/Restricted Area Badge (RAB) Program.
- →Validate members have a current security clearance on file in Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS).
