What You'll Do
- →Serving as a Media Support Branch Chief GS-0301-14 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission.
- →This position is within the Media Support Branch (MSB), Office of Public Affairs (OPA) under the Director's Office (DO) and located in Glynco, Georgia.
- →The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct oversight, administration, and supervision of a broad range of complex media and publishing services provided to the FLETC enterprise at all training delivery points, as well as a variety of federal agencies that partner with the FLETC.
- →Typical duties include: Manages and coordinates MSB's annual budgetary requirements commensurate with guidance from the Chief, Office of Public Affairs.
- →Creates and manages the policy, procedure, guidance, and governance supporting the delivery of media services.
- →Establishes standards and repeatable processes to reduce waste, redundancy, and inefficiency in MSB operations.
- →Responsible for producing and overseeing still photo and video content archives and ensuring proper information management of all historical content.
- →Assists subordinates in establishing tactical goals and objectives aligned to FLETC's and DHS' strategic goals and objectives; inspires and motivates subordinates toward their achievement.
- →Develops, reviews, and refines policies and procedures, evaluates and adjusts staffing and financial resources, and establishes performance goals for organizational media services.
