- →As part of the National Housing Act of 1934, Congress created the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) which later became a part of the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Office of Housing in 1965.
- →As a Management Information Specialist, you will: Prepare current and historical analyses of multifamily insurance, subsidy data, etc., to be used in press releases for the Secretary, Assistant Secretary for Housing and the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Multifamily Housing Programs.
- →Also, prepare workload program monitoring reports to be used in evaluating field office performance.
- →Consult with senior program managers on the creation of management information systems or quality control or monitoring techniques.
- →Design and conduct computerized statistical analyses and keep abreast of the latest techniques in the professional literature in an on-going effort to determine variables and procedures to be used in monitoring program performance.
Requirements
- ✓The official duty station for this position will be in Alexandria, Virginia.
- ✓Failure to report to duty at this location may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal.
- ✓Key Requirements: Must be U.S.
- ✓Citizen or U.S.
- ✓A one year probationary period may be required.
- ✓Continued employment is contingent upon supervisory certification that continued employment will benefit the Federal Service; the certification will occur no less than 30 days before the end of the probationary/trial period.
- ✓Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- ✓Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
- ✓Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
- ✓Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
- ✓If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
