What You'll Do
- →If selected for this position, you will serve as a Case Manager providing a wide range of legal and administrative services to one or more Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) involved in a variety criminal matters for the United States Attorney's Office, Northern District of Florida.
- →Typical duties include: Preparing and managing discovery in a variety of formats.
- →Provides a range of case development and support activities during the investigative, pre-trial, and trial phases of criminal cases.
- →Prepares subpoenas, witness lists/schedules, assembles and maintains exhibit lists and binders.
- →Prepares exhibits and demonstratives for use in legal proceedings.
- →Provides general administrative support for assigned cases.
- →This includes, but is not limited to entering information into case management systems; maintaining calendar of assigned active cases; and managing case-related documents.
- →Drafts routine motions, pretrial filings, summonses, subpoenas, satisfactions of judgements, and other routine legal documents.
- →Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
Requirements
- ✓All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S.
- ✓Department of Education.
