About the Role

This position is assigned to Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Business Center (BC), Information Solutions Division, Geospatial Enterprise Operations Branch. Incumbent serves as a Lead Visual Information Specialist for a Customer Fulfillment Team with responsibility for leading the work of numerous employees.

What You'll Do

  • Leads a group of employees providing technical processing work for all geospatial and photographic materials produced and furnished to USDA, other federal and state agencies and the general public.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates Section operations, by performing analysis of workloads, assigned tasks, and data relative to program operations.
  • Conduct long-range planning in connection with current program operations and projected changes in organizational structure, functions, and programs.
  • Serve as technical advisor and liaison to all customers, including but not limited to the FPAC, U.S.
  • Forest and other Federal Agencies. as well as non-federal State and local agencies.

Requirements

  • Foreign Education: You must submit verification that education completed in a foreign institution, was recognized by an accreditation body accepted by the U.S.
  • Department of Education.
  • You must include a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with your transcript.

  • Your transcripts must be in English or include an English translation.
