This position is located on a Forest Service Civilian Conservation Center. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating and implementing the Career Preparation Period (CPP) plan; providing guidance and instruction to new students during their orientation period and coordinating vocational exploration and administering the TABE testing for the center. What You'll Do
- →Coordinate and implement the Career Preparation Period (CPP) plan.
- →Provide guidance and instruction to new students during their orientation period.
- →Coordinate vocational exploration and administer the Testing of Adult Basic Education (TABE) for the center.
- →Promote the development of positive social skills among students through modeling appropriate behavior, positive intervention, and positively intervening and teaching appropriate employability skills for workplace success.
- →Assist primary instructors and plan, organize and conduct limited instruction.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
- ✓Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
- ✓Per Public Law 104-134 all Federal employees are required to have federal payments made by direct deposit to their financial institution.
