This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a Term not to exceed two year position. The U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) handles the day-to-day operations of Army installations.
What You'll Do
- →Disseminate guidance on regulations in response to inquiries.
- →Give advice, counsel or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
- →Provide procedural guidance in response to security inquires.
- →Enforce the physical security plan to meet installation objectives.
- →Provide protection to the installation by ensuring adherence to procedures.
- →Implement emergency plans to protect life and property.
- →Enforce laws and regulations to maintain order.
- →Provides on the job training for employees.
- →Check on work in progress to ensure supervisor's instructions on work sequence procedures are met.
- →Recommend training for team members.
- →Assign work to subordinates based on priorities and capabilities of employees.
- →Control movement of personnel and vehicles by utilizing security check points.
- →Inspect vehicles to ensure proper search and seizure procedures are followed.
- →Determine length of the visitor pass to be issued based the on purpose of the visit.
