About the Role

This position is located at Caro/Jordan Fitness Center, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Regular Full-Time position with a minimum work week of 40 hours and eligible for benefits. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

What You'll Do

  • Works as a Lead Recreation Assistant (Physical Fitness) at the Fitness Center.
  • Updates Fitness Facility Manager on all issues concerning the Fitness Center on a regular basis (daily and weekly).
  • Makes suggestions for improvements.
  • Instructs, monitors and assists other Recreation Aids in proper opening procedures, maintenance of the venter, and standards required to keep the Fitness Center in tip-top shape to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Works as a receptionist and facility worker.
  • Is responsible for cleaning of fitness machines, fitness, locker rooms and pool areas.
  • Must be familiar with the operation all fitness equipment and be able to explain use to guests.
  • Opens and closes facility daily which includes turning on and off lights, TVs, music, steam room, sauna whirlpool, stocking towels, cleaning, etc.
  • Reports any problems to the Fitness Facility Manager as soon as possible in order to maintain a high quality service to our guests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
