About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This will be filled on a permanent basis.
What You'll Do
- →Perform Medical Technician duties (i.e., collect and process medical specimens, perform laboratory testing, monitor and stock medical supplies, etc.).
- →Assist examining Medical Officer with applicant examination and identification of disqualifying enlistment/retention factors and/or determination of applicant’s fitness for military duty.
- →Provide technical guidance to subordinates.
- →Ensure proper maintenance of medical testing/evaluative equipment.
- →Lead Medical Exam Function team.
- →Verify applicants’ identity using previously captured biometrics (i.e., digital fingerprints and photographs).
