What You'll Do
- →Leads a team who specializes in labor relations and/or employee relations in accomplishing the organization's objectives.
- →Provides day-to-day expert technical leadership, workload coordination, and quality assurance for a team of HR Specialist engaged in labor and employee relations casework.
- →Serves as a senior expert consultant to management officials on sensitive or precedent-setting labor and employee relations issues.
- →Advises on proposed disciplinary, adverse, and performance-based actions, medical inability cases, leave administration, hours of work, premium pay, grievances, appeals, issues involving employee conduct, harassment, substance abuse etc.
- →Conducts complex fact-finding, gathers background information, and conducts document reviews to recommend appropriate courses of action.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university.
- ✓You must report only attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions that are recognized by the U.S.
