You will serve as a LEAD ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Industrial Operations Management Department (IOMD) of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
What You'll Do
- →You will lead Building Managers, assign work, hold status meetings, report to IPT and command, and provide administrative support functions (I.e., planning, programming, budgeting, implementing, maintaining, evaluating, and reporting).
- →You will provide plans to address shortfalls and Facility Disposition/Rehabilitation; providing justification of short and long-range plans for modification, rearrangements and modernization of Industrial processing and support shops.
- →You will manage plant equipment by identifying and analyzing customer requirements, acquiring and modifying facility equipment to meet the mission.
- →You will evaluate equipment to ensure planned maintenance cycles are current and being carried out by maintenance crew.
- →You will determine specific project requirements with customers and develop the necessary engineering drawings/sketches and supporting documentation for project implementation.
- →You will coordinate project designs, implementation and adjustments; initiating TF-1 and providing project oversight for minor construction projects and evaluating project completion.
- →You will provide a detailed response to internal and external data calls; providing assistance in managing and coordinating the Asbestos Program, submitting various updated Plans and Asbestos Program Reports.
