About the Role
You will serve as a LEAD EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REGION DISPATCH INSTRUCTOR in the COMMANDER NAVY REGION KOREA of COMMANDER NAVY REGION KOREA.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for developing dispatch training plans that address all police, fire and medical emergency services.
- →You will be developing and coordinating training schedules.
- →You will be executing all aspects of the training program to include delivering classroom and on-the-job training.
- →You will develop policies to utilize new technology and advances in the field.
- →You will document and maintain records of professional and job-related training received by Emergency Management Dispatchers and Lead Dispatchers.
- →You will be responsible for filing, timekeeping, data entries and research, reproductions, request/order supplies, retrieve, view, and respond to electronic mail.
Requirements
- ✓Additional Information: Military Spouse Preference applicants will be placed at the highest grade for which they have applied and are determined Best Qualified (BQ).
- ✓A BQ military spouse possesses knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies comparable to others who meet the competitive referral criteria for the specific position.
- ✓Must be familiar with Consolidated Law Enforcement Operations Center (CLEOC) and National Crime Information Center Computer (NCIC) databases and query procedures.
- ✓Enters data on all incidents to which the organization responds.
- ✓Incumbent is required to have successfully completed following courses: APCO Emergency Medical Dispatch Instructor, Certified Emergency Medical technician (EMT), Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) Local Agency Instructor (LAI), Certified Training Officer (CTO) Instructor, and all other training as assigned.
