What You'll Do
- →Serving as a Law Enforcement Specialist (General Training Instructor) GS-1801-12 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission.
- →This position is located in the Office of the Associate Director for Training Operations (TOPS), Core Training Operations Directorate (CTO), Office of Artesia Operations (OAO), General Training Branch and located in Artesia, NM.
- →Conducting research on emerging technology, practices, and techniques to enhance instructional knowledge and skill.
- →Ensuring class curriculum is administered in the proper sequence and that deviations from the established schedules receive prior approval.
- →Monitoring progress of students, documents results, and/or recommends remedial and corrective action to include additional training and changes in training and/or operational procedures and instructions.
- →Using life experiences from law enforcement to enhance course content and respond to student questions.
