What You'll Do
- →Advises J6 Senior Leaders on long-term IT planning, forecasts, objectives, and priorities.
- →Serves as key advisor in formulating Agency-wide IT policy, strategy, and program initiatives.
- →Prepares executive briefings, information papers, and speeches on complex IT topics.
- →Leads coordination of the J6 Operating Plan and J6 input into the DLA Strategic Plan.
- →Represents and makes commitments for J6 Senior Leaders at DOD, inter-agency, and HQ meetings Keeps J6 leadership and key stakeholders informed on critical issues affecting their mission.
- →Advises leadership on problem solving, process improvement, and customer responsiveness.
- →Promotes operational effectiveness of IT specialists across HQ and field activities.
- →Conducts studies on organizational concepts, operating relationships, and federal IT trends.
- →Maintains awareness of HQ and field IT issues to resolve pertinent mission-related challenge.
