Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Professional Responsibility, Investigative Operations Directorate, Field Investigations, Cyber Investigations, located in one of the following locations: Miramar, FL Ashburn, VA This announcement will be open for five business days OR until the first 50 applications have been received, whichever happens first.
What You'll Do
- →This position starts at a salary of $125,776.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $163,514.00 (GS-14, Step 10) Salary: Salary listed reflects the rest of U.S. scale and, if applicable, will be adjusted to meet the locality pay or cost of living expenses of the duty location upon selection.
- →Leading detailed investigations of digital activities, ensuring the collection, preservation, and analysis of digital evidence in accordance with investigative procedures and legal standards.
- →Supporting law enforcement and administrative investigations by gathering, preserving, and analyzing digital evidence, and by providing expert guidance on investigative procedures and legal standards.
- →Initiating, developing, planning, coordinating, validating, and strategically managing all-source data collection requirements and activities, regularly involving collaboration with multiple agencies and international partners.
- →Applying expert analytical skills and strategic vision to lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of complex exercises, detailed planning activities, and rapid-response operations.
