Joining the Secret Service, Office of Field Operations, Forensic Service Division will allow you to be responsible for managing and tracking equipment and supplies, ensuring accurate inventory records, and supporting mission operations by coordinating purchases, deliveries, and property distribution. What You'll Do
- →The selectee will serve as an Inventory Management Specialist in the Office of Field Operations, Forensic Services Division.
- →Typical work assignments include: Performing day-to-day inventory accountability of all property, inventory, and assets supporting the Forensic Service Division, including forensic laboratory equipment, evidence processing tools, specialized technical instrumentation, secure storage systems, and mission-essential investigative assets.
- →Verifying supporting documentation to ensure inventory transactions are properly authorized and recorded in inventory systems; conducts periodic and special physical inventory to reconcile records against physical inventory.
- →Coordinating with staff members on all life-cycle-related actions to ensure they are properly documented in inventory and property management systems.
- →Identifying routine data integrity issues which may include duplicate records, incorrect asset assignments, missing data elements or outdated status information, to initiate corrective actions to resolve discrepancies in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

Requirements
- ✓Citizenship is required.
- ✓Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
