This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Performs project/program manager duties, engaged in performing professional and technical work. This is an obligated position which an employee has return rights back to.
What You'll Do
- →Evaluate project objectives, identifying and utilizing the most economical and efficient procedures for Project design and construction.
- →Prepare detailed fee estimates for use in negotiation with A-E firms, and all pertinent correspondence, plans, reports, and A-E contract criteria necessary for design completion.
- →Coordinate all technical, functional, and administrative matters related to assembling plans, sketches, specifications, estimates, studies, and special provisions into project packages to support advertised or negotiated procurements.
- →Represents the Commanding General at HQ, FORSCOM, and Dept of the Army in presenting the needs of the installation with respect to major construction/renovation programs and emergency and non-programmed projects required to meet emergency missions.
- →Develop, evaluate, prioritize, monitor, and implement present, short term, and long range OMA, MCA, AFH and information technology projects to maintain, improve, modernize, and replace the installation infrastructure.
