The Bureau's Joint Support and Operations Center (JSOC), which provides 24-hours per day, 7 days a week, emergency response services to include: law enforcement/critical incidents, emergency notification responses, communications, critical incident support team assistance, tactical support, law enforcement database access, record communications services to the Bureau, Federal, state, local, and foreign law enforcement agencies; officials of the Administration; Congress; and the general public.
What You'll Do
- →This position is in the Office of Intelligence Operations, Operational Intelligence Division, Joint Support and Operations Center located in Washington, DC.
- →Develops, refines and evaluates automated data and serves as the focal point to ensure the effective communication of data necessary to provide enforcement information.
- →Provides law enforcement communications support to special agents of the Bureau and responsible for handling routine radio/telephone communications as well as providing communication tactical support in potentially life-threatening situations.
- →Developing data retrieval documents and linking patterns of criminal acts to a variety of criminal activities.
- →Responds to specific requests of all types of investigative data and assistance from special agents (e.g., criminal histories, investigative leads, movements of criminals, requests to dispatch tactical support, etc.) Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
Requirements

- ✓Citizen or National Selective Service registration is required for males born on, or after, December 31st 1959.
- ✓Those not registered should have an approved exemption on file.

- ✓Suitable for Federal employment determined by background investigation.
