About the Role
This position is located with the National Park Service, Interior Region 2 - South Atlantic Gulf, at Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie National Historical Park (FOSU) and Charles Pinckney National Historic Site (CHPI) in Charleston, SC.
What You'll Do
- →As an Integrated Resources Program Manager, you will perform the following duties: Directs programs of resources management activities for cultural and natural resources.
- →Attends management and professional conferences and other events for the purpose of exchanging information.
- →Develops long range plans for the inventory, evaluation, documentation, preservation, research, and interpretation of resources.
- →Coordinates park resources management programs with those on adjacent lands.
- →Negotiates cooperative and interagency agreements.
- →Collects, analyzes, and synthesizes scientific information from research.
- →Prepares environmental assessments (EA's) for park projects.
- →Establishes professional relationships with cooperating governmental agencies, partners, and stakeholders.
- →Supervises subordinate staff and serve as a member of the parks' Management Teams.
- →Develops and directs a robust and intricate program of resources management activities for cultural and natural resources that may involve sensitive and complex issues impacting a wide variety of park resources and concerns.
Requirements
