About the Position: This position is located at U.S. Army MSCOE Chemical MSCOE DOT INDIV and COLL Training Development office on Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, bordering Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2-hour drive east and Springfield is a 1-hour drive west of Fort Leonard Wood.
What You'll Do
- →Coordinate instructional methods and materials to ensure collaboration across training entities and programs.
- →Develop overall program goals and objectives for the blue print of instructional programs.
- →Develop a curriculum design team on sound educational methods to test their product or assess the construction process.
- →Evaluate emerging technology tools to determine their usefulness in maximizing instructional effectiveness.
- →Assess measurement instruments to determine the level of validity and reliability.
- →Design testing and measurement instruments to evaluate performance.
- →Conduct job duty analysis to establish total individual task inventory and performs critical individual task analyses to identify task performance specification.
- →Analyze training trends to provide guidance and policy advice on matters concerning development or modification of instructional materials Develop training strategies and concepts to effectively handle those impacts by changes in existing institutional training product.
- →Determine the reliability and validity of tests through analysis of results.
- →Design and develop multimedia, distance learning and training simulations.
- →Assign workloads to be accomplished, and provide training and assistance to other lower-level Instructional Systems Specialist.
- →Brief staff and faculty to inform them of emerging instructional technologies or training development techniques.
- →Attend conferences, workshops, seminars, and selected training activities to maintain subject matter knowledge.
