You will serve as an Industrial Specialist (Ships) in the CG Class Team, DDG/CG/FFG/PC/LCAC Branch Combatant Division, Waterfront Operations Department, Office of the Executive Director, Norfolk Ship Support Activity (NSSA) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.
What You'll Do
- →You will act as the business agent for availabilities and contracts.
- →You will utilize knowledge of funds management and accounting procedures, methods and practices.
- →You will review ship repair and shipbuilding procedures for quality control of overhauling and production ship methods.
- →You will coordinate weekly progress conferences pertaining to the assigned availability and contracts.
- →You will maintain liaison with customers, ship forces and functional departments.
