About the Role

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT) in the DATA INTEGRITY BRANCH OF THE TALENT AQUISITION AND STAFFING WEST DIRECTORATE of OFFICE OF CIVILIAN HUMAN RESOURCES OPERATIONS. What You'll Do

  • You will apply quality assurance concepts, principles, methods and practices analyzing end products of the provided HR services.
  • You will perform evaluation of technical work requiring intense research or analysis for the full range of personnel actions, and determining pay entitlements.
  • You will evaluate data involving the technical and regulatory review of the full range of personnel actions.
  • You will analyzing and resolving difficult pay problems, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
  • You will conduct fact finding and recommend solutions to moderately difficult but well-precedented and/or recurring issues and problems.
  • You will ensure personnel and payroll information is properly recorded in both the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) and the Defense Civilian Pay System (DCPS).

Requirements

  • SUPERIOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT (SAA): Superior Academic Achievement is based on: (1) class standing; (2) grade-point average, or (3) honor society membership. 1.
  • Class standing - applicants must be in the upper third of graduating class in the college or university attending based on courses completed. 2.
  • Grade-point average (G.P.A) - applicants must have a grade-point average of: a. 2.95 or higher out of a possible 4.0 ("B" or better) as recorded on official transcript or as computed based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of my curriculum, or b.
  • Based on grade-point average of 3.45 or higher out of a possible 4.0 ("B+" or better) based on the average of the required courses completed in the major field completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum. 3.
  • Election to membership in a national scholastic honor society as listed by the Association of College Honor Societies.
  • Membership in a freshman honor society cannot be used to meet the requirements of this provision.
