You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT) in the DATA INTEGRITY BRANCH OF THE TALENT AQUISITION AND STAFFING WEST DIRECTORATE of OFFICE OF CIVILIAN HUMAN RESOURCES OPERATIONS. What You'll Do
- →You will apply quality assurance concepts, principles, methods and practices analyzing end products of the provided HR services.
- →You will perform evaluation of technical work requiring intense research or analysis for the full range of personnel actions, and determining pay entitlements.
- →You will evaluate data involving the technical and regulatory review of the full range of personnel actions.
- →You will analyzing and resolving difficult pay problems, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
- →You will conduct fact finding and recommend solutions to moderately difficult but well-precedented and/or recurring issues and problems.
- →You will ensure personnel and payroll information is properly recorded in both the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) and the Defense Civilian Pay System (DCPS).
Requirements
- ✓SUPERIOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT (SAA): Superior Academic Achievement is based on: (1) class standing; (2) grade-point average, or (3) honor society membership. 1.
- ✓Class standing - applicants must be in the upper third of graduating class in the college or university attending based on courses completed. 2.
- ✓Grade-point average (G.P.A) - applicants must have a grade-point average of: a. 2.95 or higher out of a possible 4.0 ("B" or better) as recorded on official transcript or as computed based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of my curriculum, or b.
- ✓Based on grade-point average of 3.45 or higher out of a possible 4.0 ("B+" or better) based on the average of the required courses completed in the major field completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum. 3.
- ✓Election to membership in a national scholastic honor society as listed by the Association of College Honor Societies.
- ✓Membership in a freshman honor society cannot be used to meet the requirements of this provision.
