What You'll Do
- →As a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT) at the GS-0201-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serve as a senior subject-matter expert, providing guidance and recommendations on critical HR programs to senior executives and commanders throughout the Department of War (DoW).
- →Develop and implement DoW-wide policy and program guidance related to compensation, recruitment, and placement in response to emerging or critical issues.
- →Analyze and propose legislative or regulatory recommendations that modify how the DoW conducts its HR programs and evaluate the impact of new legislation on existing programs.
- →Lead and execute special DoW-level projects, delivering oral and written presentations on findings and recommendations to senior officials and external agencies.
- →Represent the agency on external panels and groups, articulating and defending DoW needs and preferences concerning legislative or regulatory proposals.
Requirements
- ✓Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
