This position is located in the Chief Operating Officer Organization, Human Resources, Staffing, Payroll, Processing and Personnel Operations of the FDIC and is responsible for providing operational recruitment, placement, and staffing activities nationwide. Additional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement to fill similar vacancies that occur subsequent to this announcement. Positions can be filled at any of the locations advertised.
What You'll Do
- →Provides management consultative services involving the full spectrum of HR functional areas assigned.
- →Serves as management's technical advisor regarding the successful recruitment, placement, and retention of qualified personnel for client organizations.
- →Provides guidance, consultation and assistance to managers, supervisors and employees on qualifications requirements, pay issues, merit promotion plan administration, excepted service, employment and placement requirements, and information systems programs.
- →Uses HR information systems to produce a variety of management reports and conduct in-depth analysis of the HR programs.
- →Actively participates in the implementation, enhancement, maintenance, and future development of HR information systems.
- →Conducts meetings, briefings and other oral presentations to senior management, supervisors, and employees concerning human resources management issues.
- →Reviews past recruitment practices and local labor market conditions to give advice on future staffing strategies.
- →Participates in audits and internal control reviews of FDIC HR programs.
Requirements
- ✓Registration with the Selective Service.

- ✓Completion of Confidential Financial Disclosure may be required.
- ✓Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) required.
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the experience for this position.
