About the Role
You will serve as a in the Human Resources Specialist (Military in the Enlisted Placement Management Division of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND.
What You'll Do
- →You will develop military personnel action procedures based on new regulations.
- →You will consult with customers on human resources issues (e.g., strategic workforce development, sustainment, compensation management, organizational design).
- →You will analyze qualitative and quantitative data to report human capital management statistical information to managers.
- →You will develop evaluation strategies to measure a human resources organization's effectiveness in meeting program requirements.
- →You will manage military personnel actions (e.g., awards, promotions, schools, assignments, retirements, separations, recruitment, retention) in support of a military personnel program.
- →You will develop a strategic staffing plan to meet future workforce needs.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree.
- ✓OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
- ✓OR Successful completion of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.
