About the Role
About the Position: Serve as a Senior Human Resources Specialist, GS-0201-13, leading recruitment, placement, and workforce planning initiatives for EUCOM. Act as the primary HR advisor to JDIR leadership, providing targeted consultation on civilian resourcing strategies. This position is located on Patch Barracks, Vaihingen, Germany.
What You'll Do
- →Evaluate program execution and collaborates with manpower personnel utilizing strength data systems to forecast and align recruitment efforts with long-term organizational requirements.
- →Apply comprehensive knowledge of Title 5, Department of War (DoW), and component-specific HR regulations to resolve complex staffing challenges.
- →Keep abreast of new developments and regulatory guidance from the Joint Staff (JS), Office of Personnel Management (OPM), DoW, and Department of Army.
- →Serve as the senior subject matter expert and technical authority for DPMAP and civilian incentive awards.
- →Analyze and evaluate HR automated systems and data to identify known or suspected problem areas.
- →Prepare and present comprehensive reports and briefings on program status and HR issues to key staff elements and senior leadership.
- →Plan and draft human resources management policies and guides for use by EUCOM staff.
- →Provide authoritative technical guidance to managers across the EUCOM AOR regarding civilian workforce management.
