About the Role
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST (EMPLOYEE BENEFITS) in the WORKFORCE RELATIONS (N11A3), LABOR/EMPLOYEE & WORKFORCE RELATIONS BR (N11A), CIVILIAN WORKFORCE POLICY & SUSTAIN DIV, TOTAL WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM OFFICE (N1) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND MSC.
What You'll Do
- →You will administer all aspects of the Federal Employee Compensation Act Program (FECA) Program and serve as a Subject Matter Expert.
- →You will coordinate with the Department of Labor on requests for additional information, the challenge of claims, and the investigation of employee's /illness as required.
- →You will be responsible for providing comprehensive program management and employee/management advisory service on the full range of available incentive awards s and federal leave programs for both ashore and afloat personnel.
- →You will provide advice to activity commanders and directors, safety managers and financial managers on FECA claims, costs and trends You will coordinate employes death claims as a liaison with survivors, the Department of Labor, the Office of Civilian Human Resources, Office of Personnel Management, and other applicable points of contact.
