About the Role
About the Position: Serve as an advisor to Headquarters US European Command (EUCOM) senior leadership, managers, and supervisors in areas of position classification, position management, special program tracking, and foreign labor support for command positions. Work within the Civilian Personnel Programs and Policy Branch, ECJ1-HC, Manpower, Personnel, and Administration Directorate, independently performing a range of classification assignments and related human resources (HR) tasks.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for the position classification and management of HQ EUCOM position descriptions and classifies position descriptions within US EUCOM delegated authorities.
- →Provide technical advice, functional and procedural guidance, and assistance to supervisors and managers within HQ USEUCOM for various civilian human resources (HR).
- →HR advisory includes the critical conditions of employment and validation of various certifications required by specific series and career programs.
- →Update and validate various personnel codes related to each position as needed to ensure personnel data systems are updated and accurate.
- →Make recommendations in the proper crediting of factor levels and ultimate allocation of grade levels to positions.
- →Provide assistance in the execution of the Foreign Labor Program, may be required to represent the command at key meetings in support of USEUCOM and the Department of War as related to the Foreign Labor Program.
- →Present desk side training to supervisors and managers who require one-on-one training as appropriate.
