What You'll Do
- →Responsible for the coordination; implementation and monitoring of the institution's training and employee development program, and is the primary advisor to the Warden in matters relating to the management of the Employee Development Department.
- →Works with institutional department heads to assure adequate training plans exist to train probationary staff, and assists as necessary in the instruction of trainees enrolled in institution training courses.
- →Trains and develops in-house trainers and instructors in teaching concepts and techniques.
- →Responsible for the oversight, coordination, implementation and monitoring of the institution's training and employee development programs.
- →Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution.
- →The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and is performed on a regular and recurring basis.
Requirements
- ✓Career Transition Programs (CTAP): These programs apply to Federal and/or DOJ employees who meet the definition of surplus or displaced from a position in the competitive service.

- ✓Be rated well-qualified for the position, scoring at least half of the total possible points for the vacancy KSAs or competencies; and 3.
