What You'll Do
- →As a Human Capital Specialist (Detail), GS-0301-12/13/14, your typical work assignments may include the following: Supports GS recruitment and hiring.
- →Prepares and posts job announcements in liaison with HR.
- →Supports hiring managers during the recruitment, assessment, and selection processes.
- →Supports employee onboarding processes.
- →Uses HR systems such as Workday and DCPDS to execute employee actions.
- →Collects new employees' personally identifiable information (PII) and initiates pre-employment security and drug screening processes.
- →Develops clear reports, dashboards, and briefings that communicate workforce insights to leadership.
- →Researches best practices and contributes to human capital policy development and leadership briefing materials.
- →Participates in cross-functional projects to improve Human Capital and HR processes, and enhance the employee experience.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
