This position is in the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Human Resources Directorate's Human Resources Center (HRSC), Personnel Services (PS) Directorate. The HRSC provides consolidated HR management, technical support, and centralized processing for DoD agencies and offices in the National Capital Region (NCR) and their field activities.
What You'll Do
- →Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Provides authoritative advice and provides position classification and position management services.
- →Prepares and reviews positions and/or job descriptions.
- →Provides position management and classification support to assigned organizations under various personnel systems.
- →Determines the correct position classification by comparison to applicable Office of Personnel Management (OPM) existing standards or guides.
- →Interprets and applies complex federal human resources laws, regulations, and guidelines.
