About the Role
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION This National Guard position is for a Human Resources Specialist (Military), Position Description Number D2054000 and is part of the KS Joint Forces Headquarters Kansas Army National Guard.
What You'll Do
- →As a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), GS-0201-09, you will serve as a senior personnel NCO and have responsibility for overseeing and ensuring the accomplishment of work performed in the areas of personnel management and administration.
- →Serves as an advisor to the commander and staff on the brigade human resources (HR) program.
- →Interprets policy and provides procedural guidance to the commander, staff members and individual military members.
- →Assists in the preparation for and executes command level inspections of subordinate units in the area of personnel and administration.
- →Develop guidelines and operational procedures to implement changes to policies and programs directed by higher headquarters.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- ✓If you are using education to qualify for this position, master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
