About the Role
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a HR SPEC, Position Description Number T5931000 and is part of the HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE- ARMY, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. Veterans' preference does not apply to this vacancy due to internal merit promotion. This is a Temporary Promotion not to exceed 1 year and may be converted to permanent without competition.
What You'll Do
- →As a HR Spec, GS-0201-11, you will perform work in two HR Specialties, Benefits and Active Guard and Reserve (AGR).
- →This position services both Army (ARNG) and Air National Guard (ANG) organizations and the full-time workforce within the state.
Requirements
- ✓If using only education to qualify for this position, must have Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M.
- ✓Combining Education and Experience: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level.
- ✓You must have an combination of specialized experience and education beyond a four year degree in a related field to the position.
- ✓Graduate Education: Education at the graduate level in an accredited college or university meets the requirements for positions at GS-11.
- ✓You must provide Official Transcripts as documentation to support your Educational claims.
- ✓To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
