This position is located within the Environmental Management Services (EMS) Division of a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center. The primary purpose of this position is to exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in supporting and performing task (e.g., environment of care, textile distribution and training) associated with the EMS goals and objectives.
What You'll Do
- →The Housekeeping Aid Supervisor will supervise, plans, directs and administers custodial, janitorial, housekeeping and sanitation activities as well as provides housekeeping coverage for one or more assignments necessary to complete the job.
- →He/she will be responsible for the direct supervision of Housekeeping Aides, WG-1, and WG-2 and Housekeeping Work Leaders WL-1, WL-2.
- →The Housekeeping Aid Supervisor exercises technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in supporting and performing tasks (e.g., environment of care, textile distribution and training) associated with the EMS goals and objectives.
