The incumbent performs as a Housekeeping Aid Supervisor within the Environmental Management Service (EMS). He/she works at the Mather VA Northern California Health Care System (VA NCHCS) and is responsible for supervising and performing all housekeeping duties and tasks assigned to clean and disinfect all areas within the healthcare system.
What You'll Do
- →This ANNOUNCEMENT will remain open until filled or Closing Date.
- →The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications is 10 days from announcement open date.
- →Eligible applications received after that date will be accepted on an ongoing basis and qualified candidates will be referred periodically throughout the announcement period until the position is filled.
- →The Housekeeping Aid Supervisor exercises technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in supporting and performing tasks (e.g., environment of care, textile distribution and training) associated with the EMS goals and objectives.

Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
