This position provides oversight of assigned areas and employees within Environmental Management Services in order to assist service supervisors.
What You'll Do
- →Work Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm/3:00pm-11:30pm/11:00pm-7:30am Position Description Title/PD#: Housekeeping Aid (Leader)/PD05324A Physical Requirements: : Incumbent must be physically able to remain engaged in manual work requiring muscular effort the duration of their shift.
- →The work consists of loading and unloading stacks of linen weighing up to 700 pounds.
- →The incumbent must be able to continually stand, bend, and stoop and reach while performing regular duties as well as be able to lift and carry objects weighing approximately 50 pounds.
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
- ✓Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
