What You'll Do
- →What to Expect Provides physical fitness training to authorized patrons to include: Active Duty, Retirees, Family Members, and Department of War (DoW) Civilian employees.
- →Organizes and conducts physical fitness assessments to include: screening and risk stratification, measurement and evaluation of an individual's aerobic capacity, body fat percentage, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, blood pressure, and interpretation of assessment results.
- →Instructs patrons in proper use of exercise equipment while training and informs on methods to self-monitor progress either verbally or in writing use of equipment, safety and well-being.
- →Once required training for HITT Instructor-Level 2 is successfully completed and a minimum of 6 months in the Level-1 position, employee(s) will automatically be converted to HITT Instructor-Level 2 position.
- →This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
- →Performs other related duties as assigned.
