About the Position: The purpose of this position is to serve as a paraprofessional member of the surgical team in the performance of scrub and/or circulating Operating Room duties. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Follow pre-operative nursing care plan in preparing the patient and operating room.
- →Prepare required supplies, equipment, and instruments for surgical procedures.
- →Obtain supplies needed during surgery.
- →Clean operating room after surgery and replenish general supplies.
