This Health Technician (Audiology) position serves the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in the Audiology & Speech Pathology Service
What You'll Do
- →Duties of the Health Technician (Audiology) include, but are not limited to: Health Technician (Audiology) (HTA) interacts with veterans to solve hearing device problems during scheduled appointments.
- →Responsible for minor hearing aid repairs brought in or mailed by the veterans or requested by the Audiologists for veterans without a scheduled appointment.

Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen to apply for this job.
- ✓All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.

- ✓Must be proficient in written and spoken English.

- ✓Must pass pre-employment physical evaluation.
- ✓Must be able to independently operate Government Vehicle.
- ✓Must provide clean driving record report from the DMV during the pre-employment process.
- ✓Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).
