About the Position: This position is located at 375th Medical Group at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Use computer and peripheral equipment to establish baseline and annual hearing thresholds in support of the Hearing Conservation Program.
- →Ensure hearing testing results are posted in the electronic medical record and in any other official record systems.
- →Fit personnel with hearing protection approved for use by Department of War (DoW) personnel.
- →Refer individuals identified via hearing exams for diagnostic examinations by the audiologist.
- →Instruct personnel who fail hearing tests on procedures required for follow-up care.
- →Comply with all applicable laws and regulations as well as established policies, procedures and written instructions.
