This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Clinical Standards and Quality, (CCSQ). As a Health Insurance Specialist (Program Policy), GS-0107-11/12, you will perform program policy work related to national health insurance programs, such as Medicare, Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Marketplace Exchange/private health insurance.
What You'll Do
- →Analyze and evaluate proposed, modified, or new legislation and regulations to assess the impact on CMS programs.
- →Work with States, CMS staff, and stakeholders to identify and address evolving program issues.
- →Conduct in-depth technical analyses using qualitative and quantitative methods to identify, evaluate, and resolve.
- →Review regulations, rulings, manuals, program guidelines, and policy memorandum to effectively communicate and disseminate program policies.
