This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Strategic Operations and Regulatory Affairs (OSORA). As a Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-14, you will serve as a primary liaison with HHS or the Department and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) on matters relating to compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA), the Regulatory Flexibility Act (RFA), and other associated Executive Orders.
What You'll Do
- →Provides technical expertise on compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act, the Regulatory Flexibility Act, and associated Executive Orders.
- →Provides technical expertise on the development, drafting, and clearance of information collection packages and regulatory impact analyses.
- →Oversees the planning and timely completion of projects.
- →Serves as a facilitator and negotiator to resolve issues that arise during the development and clearance process between CMS, HHS, and OMB.
- →Develops and provides training for CMS staff on the development of information collection packages and regulatory impact analysis.
