What You'll Do
- →If selected for this position you will join a well-respected Victim Witness team in the Criminal Division that is responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling activities of the Grand Jury.
- →The duties and responsibilities for a Grand Jury Coordinator generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Conduct a variety of grand jury administrative duties associated with grand jury operations, i.e., develop orientation materials for new grand jurors, draft and send juror summons, monitor compliance with summons.
- →Assemble all necessary information for presentation of indictments.
- →Obtain documentation or other records required for presentation of a case to the grand jury.
- →Conduct grand jury logistical support duties, i.e, schedule appearances, coordinate returns of indictments with the Court Clerk, and coordinate with Victim Witness staff regarding appearances of victims and witnesses.
- →Respond to victim and witness inquiries via phone, e-mail, letters and fax, provide initial screening of victim concerns, and determine program eligibility for victim-witness services.
- →Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
