The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the senior, non-supervisory Operations Program Manager, responsible for the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of large-scale declassification programs and operations workflows.
What You'll Do
- →Manages Declassification Operations Programs.
- →Serves as the lead program manager for multiple declassification operations lines of effort including automatic, systematic, mandatory, and special/ discretionary, thus ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and meeting customer needs.
- →Designs and conducts complex declassification surveys, reviews, and research projects and provides advisory services on issues.
- →Serves as expert planner, coordinator, and advisor for agency policy regarding declassification planning within DoD constraints.
- →Maintains agency automated databases actions for incorporation into the interagency declassification database.
- →Ensures adequate handling, storage and transfer of all classified records at all security levels to meet requirements of Executive Order 13526, 32 CFR 2001, DoD Manual 5200.01, DAFMAN 16-1404, and other governmental regulations relating to security protective measures.
