You will serve as a FREIGHT RATE SPECIALIST in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL AIR TERMINAL.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for the research, verification, approval, and certification of Federal Express Ground shipment billings.
- →You will review various shipments of hazardous, temperature sensitive, fragile, oversized, urgent, or other freight not covered by standing route orders.
- →You will compile data for exact and accurate entry requirements on appropriate bills of lading for hazardous materials, sensitive/classified material, and personal property shipments.
- →You will determine the classification, routing, consignment, rate structure, and cost estimate of shipments according to priority, DOD, cost savings, and security factors.
