This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for inputting data and learning basic regulations into a highly autonomous senior strategist managing high-visibility international defense portfolios. Through this path, they develop comprehensive mastery in case development, regulatory compliance, international stakeholder negotiation, and complex financial execution within the Department of War.
What You'll Do
- →As a FOREIGN MILITARY SALES ANALYST at the GS-0301-7/9/11/12 some of your typical work assignments may include: Planning, organizing, and directing activities to ensure Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) process complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
- →Establishing policies and procedures for accomplishment of LOA development and processing requirements.
- →Completes final phase development of LOA documents from all Implementing Agencies.
- →Conducts quality reviews to ensure final product meets all regulatory and policy guidelines.
- →Serves as technical/subject matter advisor to management and, as such, must continually assess and adjust throughout its varied phases.
- →Works closely with the Department of Defense and Service branches, coordinating SC/SA policy, programs and data systems.
Requirements

- ✓GS-07: Possess one full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement. , or LL.M., if related.
- ✓GS-09: Possess a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
- ✓GS-11: Possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M, if related.
- ✓Foreign education may be qualifying if a private organization specializing in interpreting foreign education programs has deemed the foreign education equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program or a U.S. accredited college or university has given full credit for the foreign courses.
- ✓Unofficial transcripts from U.S.
- ✓Department of Education accredited colleges, universities, schools, or institutions listing your name, the name of the school, the date and degree awarded, and the list of classes and credits earned are acceptable for the application process.
- ✓If selected, official transcripts are required before a firm job offer is made.
- ✓A photocopy of your degree/diploma is not acceptable.
- ✓When relying on foreign education, submit transcripts and a copy of the equivalency evaluation results letter with a course-by-course listing.
- ✓Documents must be in English or include an English translation.
- ✓The hiring employer for this position does not evaluate degrees from foreign colleges or universities.
