About the Position: Work is performed in kitchen area where steam & heat from cooking & dish-washing equipment often cause uncomfortably high temperatures & humidity. Work area is well lit but usually noisy from food service activities, & there is danger of slipping on floors where food or beverages have been dropped. The worker is regularly exposed to hot liquids, sharp cutting blades, hot working surfaces, & extreme temperature changes when entering walk-in refrigeration or freezing units.
What You'll Do
- →Operate cash collection system for a variety of customers.
- →Set up and serve cafeteria lines, steam-tables, and side service stands.
- →Weigh, process, assemble, and label food products according to recipes.
- →Organize ingredients and completed recipes for efficiency.
- →Label, date, and place food in proper storage.
- →Clean and sanitize work area in an orderly and sanitary manner.
- →Inspect food for freshness, quantity, and quality.
- →Prepare sandwiches, salads, cold platters, and drinks for future use.
