About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Clinical Support, Nutrition Care, Food and Production Services at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, GA. The position performs a variety of tasks associated with the preparation of simple foods, serving prepared foods and beverages and cleaning food service trays, pans, dishes and work areas.
What You'll Do
- →Prepare food items by wrapping, portioning, and assembling products for mobile food carts in accordance with established food safety and sanitation procedures.
- →Stock food carts by inventorying items, replenishing supplies during service periods, and ensuring proper rotation and presentation of products.
- →Balance the cash drawer by counting money at the end of the meal period, separating the change fund, and completing required documentation.
- →Apply basic arithmetic and adhering to established cash-handling procedures.
- →Wash dishes, pots and/or pans manually or by use of mechanical equipment.
- →Clean kitchen equipment until free of debris.
